Helping and supporting St. Gabriel’s children and youth

We believe every child deserves to know they matter.
When kids feel valued and have access to a strong education, their potential is limitless. Our organization is dedicated to supporting kids through education resources, mental health initiatives and the simple joy of childhood fun.

17%
of St. Gabriel’s children live in poverty.

51%
of households in Iberville are below the ALICE threshold. ALICE or Asset Limited, Income Constrained and Employed represents families who are unable to afford the basic needs.

1 in 9
kids 12-17 years old in Louisiana have had a major depressive episode in recent years.
St. Gabriel is where our family is from and where our hearts are. It’s our community. We have dedicated our time, energy and talent to uplifting St. Gabriel’s kids. FFYI is our way to continue and grow that work.

“We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.”
